
SCHOOL REGULATIONS
1.Our Institution is a catholic school run by the SISTERS OF THE CHILD JESUS and is an “educational community” aiming principally at the integral formation of the students, enlightened by the Christian principles and following the rules of the DEPED, For this purpose is necessary the collaboration of all the Organs and members of the school: Sisters, teachers, parents, staff and pupils.
2.The school regulations will help every member to develop human virtues, knowledge,
Faith, good character, self-respect, discipline and mutual love in an atmosphere of tranquility and peace.
3.Being also a Pilipino school, this institution will nourish in every member the true love for our Country.
4.The rules must be known and observed by all. Disciplinary sanctions will be applied for disobedience, negligence, disregard, rebellion.
The grave transgressions of these rules, especially if repeated, can imply the expulsion from this Community, after patient advices, admonition, correction and report to the right school authorities.
5.The coordination among Directress, Principal, class advisers, counseling service is truly necessary in performing our education apostolate.
6.Secret informations received through counseling shall be kept confidential and it is the duty of the Principal or Directress to decide what shall be done.
7.Modest attire, exemplar behavior, in speech and actions shall be fostered in each member of the school.
8.The teachers and the students will always wear the uniform of our school.
9.If some accidents happen to the students in the school( that can never be avoided) it is recommended responsibility, care, concern, assistance of the teachers but also understanding of the parents.
Maybe it can be avoided, observing all the school regulations, the exact schedule never allowing the children remain alone even in free time or when the class is suspended Crossing the road in entering or exit of the school the guard or somebody will guide the children.
10.The preparation for the Sacrament of First Communion and Confession will start in grade 3.
11.The class will begin with a prayer, guided by the teacher, and every Monday will be the flag ceremony in front of the pre-grade school building.
12.No unknown people are allowed to enter in the area of the school.
DIRECTRESS
The Directress of the school is the Provincial Superior of the Sisters of the Child Jesus,
Resident in Tahanan Village, Paranaque City, duly appointed by the Mother General of the Congregation, from Italy. She will be present often in the school and will coordinate the activities to be done and has the duty to promote the educational commitment among the members of our school as the center and point of reference for the unity and harmony
Of each member. Particularly:
a) she is the one who will accept(and, if necessary, dismiss) the teachers and will stipulate the contract with them and the staff of our school
b) she has the duty to put a remedy to the defaults or limitations of the teachers and service administration;
c) it is her competence to ask and receive donations and any financial contribution for the school activities;
d) she is the manage of all the financial resources.
PRINCIPAL
a) The Principal is the one who is directly responsible of all the activities in the school and the coordinator among the teachers, the staff and the parents of our students.
b) She will enroll the pupils, approve the programs and lesson plan and write down the calendar of the school year, deal with the publishing houses for the text books, and has the duty to convoke and preside the meetings.
c) It is her duty to submit to the Directress the assumption of the new teachers and to confirm the old ones.
d) She will submit to the DEPED the report of the school year and will pay monthly the SSS., Pag-ibig, Phil-health for the teachers.
e) She will let known to the teachers all the Memorandums of the DEPED.
f) At the end of the school year she will coordinate the activities for the distribution of the progress report class.
g) She will guide the meeting convoked among the teachers to decide the grading system of the school, the policy for the honors and medalist criteria and will sign it.
h) she is the one who will receive the tuition fee of the students from their families, without delay.
TEACHERS
1.As active members and”yeast” of our Education Community the teachers must commit themselves to reach the goal of our school through a profound and adequate preparation, responsible and loving dedication to the students and coherent testimony of their life.
2.They will work always in conformity to the dispositions of the Directress and the Principal and to decisions taken during the meetings.
3.Eventhough every teacher has his/her own didactic and pedagogic style and method, it is opportune to exchange their experiences and to have a certain uniformity in teaching.
4. The teachers at the beginning of the school year, and any time they will be convoked,
must attend the meetings for the programs and decisions to be taken.
5.They will follow attentively the school calendar and will not be absent from the school if not for strict necessity and with the permission of the Principal.
6.Their punctuality is heartily recommended, it is one of their principal duty.
7.Without neglecting the talented students, the teachers will have particular care of those who are less gifted.
8.They must demand from the pupils respect, order, discipline, honesty, cleanness, correct language and a proper use of all the facilities of the school.
9.Smoking in class and in the premises of the school is strictly prohibited.
10.In the meetings for choosing the test books the teachers will follow the orientation of the DEPED, in full respect of the goal of our education, considering also their prices, avoiding the most expensive ones.
11.Every teacher has the duty to write down his/her recorder, to prepare lesson plan and to report to the Principal the results of their students and his/her educational activity.
12.They have the duty to attend specific seminars that can be useful for the development and improvement of their competence.
13.Never they must leave alone their students and also they must be present in class before the coming of the students and go out after their dismissal.
14.Before starting and ending their class the teachers will pray together with their students.
15.Moving from their class to another place, the teachers will accompany their students,
demanding silence, discipline, respect and order.
15, It is not advisable to expel from the class the undisciplined students, to avoid unpleasant conseguences.
PARENTS
-The parents, sending their children in our school, will provide not only to the payment of the tuition fee, but will cooperate also for the actualization of our programs and purposes.
-They will get the students’ hand book and uniforms during the enrollment of their children and, if convoked, they must attend also the meetings for them.
-They will accompany personally their children in going to our school and pick up them
with punctuality at the end, or send their delegate.
-No car or tricycle no any other motor must enter through the gate, except in particular cases, as a strong wind or rain etc.
PTA
It will be by election, following proper regulations.
STUDENTS
1. All the students, with a deep and growing sense of responsibility must attend and appreciate all the educational activities, as a priority commitment of their actual life, in order to achieve their human and Christian formation( according to the spirit and the charisma of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Child Jesus-Suore del Bambin Gesu’ in Italy) as it is well explained and evident in the Vision and Mission of our school. The school regulations will be for them a valid help to motivate their commitmrnt.
2. The daily attendance to the class is a serious and conscious obligation, to which the students and their families commit themselves since the moment of their enrolment.
3. The schedule for the beginning and the end of the class will be let known to the students and their families at the moment of their enrolment and the pupils must be in class at least 5 minutes before the start of the class. To be late in the school or unjustified absences are a grave obstacle to all the educational activities, s it must be carefully avoided.
4. To the students will be given, when it is ready, a correspondence book and hand book, that is strictly personal, used every day and taken care of.
5. The absences more than 5 days for sickness require a medical certificate and in case of contagious illness it is duty of the doctor to attest the complete healing of the child.
6. All the students must commit themselves in the activities of the school and in the home works with consciousness and responsibility, without showing any negligence or idleness.
7. All the students must have their personal test book and all the school supply necessary to them, in order to facilitate their understanding.
8. All the students must wear their school uniform, for daily class and for P.I.
9. During the lesson is not allowed to go out, if not for justified reasons and with the duly permission; more and more it is strictly prohibited to disturb the teachers or classmates, to run, to rise their voice etc.
10. Nobody can leave from the school during the class without the permission of the Principal.
Those who will have lunch in the school must remain there.Those who prefere to go home for lunch must remain at home until the class will be resumed, avoiding undisciplined coming and going.This must be observed also from their parents who desire to bring food or drink to them
11. During the break time the students will go in canteen accompanied by their teachers and then they will buy and consume their merenda. After 10 minutes the class will be resumed.
12. In every place the students must have a disciplined behavior, according to the spirit and principles of our Christian educational Community, avoiding any unrespectful comportment or speech toward the authorities and also among their companions.The same behavior the students must keep outside of the school and in their home.
13. Grave offenses against the morality, religion and respect due to the authorities, school staff and classmates can imply the expulsion from the school.
14. All the students have the duty to keep clean and safe the books and all they have in their bags, as well the class room, the furnitures, the seats etc, especially the CR., the doors, thr windows and any object and facilities inside the rooms and they must turn out the light and faucets after the use.
15. It is strictly prohibited to write and make dirty, and more and more to destroy what they see around them as well to throw on the floor or on the ground paper, empty cans, bottles, plastic etc. Many trashcans are duly arranged for that.
16. Informations and communications to the students(as well to their families) about particular activities or change of the schedule or meetings, exam, quiz etc will be announced on time by the Principal through show board or orally in class or through duplicates.
17. Nobody must stay in special rooms( computer room, science laboratory, library, economics etc.) without the presence of one teacher.
