This is the Charism of our Congregation:
-To Conceive Jesus in our HEART
(Listening to, welcoming his word and treasuring it)
-To Deliver Him
(Becoming instrument of salvation to others)
-To nourish Him in our heart and making Him grow in the hearts of our brothers
SPIRITUALITY
•Living the Charism of their Congregation, the Sisters take public vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience, in the spirit of the Gospel, in fraternal communion and observing their Constitutions

The essential contents and guidelines of their spirituality are the following:
-The contemplation of the Mystery of the Incarnation;
-The unconditional acceptance of the will of God, imitating the annihilation of Jesus Christ from His birth until the supreme sacrifice on the cross;
-The practical and effective way to live the Mystery of the Word Incarnate is to participate in the Eucharist Liturgy, the center and apex of the religious life and also the source of union and fraternal charity, that builds and nourishes the Church as a community of love.
Particular devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, will help the Sisters in living their consecration to God. St.Joseph and Sta. Theresa d’Avila are also their particular Patrons.
The Sisters in virtue of the Charism of their Congregation are called to respond with a
great faith to the Divine Word, to be a sign of hope for the eternal goods, to walk toward the sanctity along the “ narrow “ road of the evangelical counsels.
THE CONSTITUTIONS
•The Constitutions- that guide the life of the Sisters since the Foundation of the Congregation in Italy, in 1693 (called” SUORE CONVITTRICI DEL BAMBIN GESU’), have been updated after the Vatican II, based on the new Canon Law, and finally approved in 1999,adding the SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES and the DIRECTORY

•The Constitutions are divided in 3 Parts and concern the Nature and the goal of the Congregation, the vows, the prayer life, the Community life, the Apostolate, the Formation of the new members in the period of Aspirancy, Postulancy, Novitiate, Temporary Profession and Perpetual Profession under the guidance of the Formator; and, lastly, the Governance of the Congregation
CHARISM

These 3 aspects of life inspired Father Cosimo Berlinzani and came from the writings of venerable Bede, Priest and Doctor of the Church, by commmenting the beatitudes of Jesus”Blessed are those who listen to the Word of God and keep it”
Charism means “gift”: it is given by God” to the Founder/Foundress of a Congregation, not only for his/her personal profit but for the good of the members of the Congregation and for the goodness of all the Church, and most of all for the glory of God. The approval of the Magisterium of the Church is the warranty that this gift is authentic and comes from God.Every Congregation has own Founder/Foundress and also own charism, that characterizes her,making different from others.
From the Charism comes the spirituality of the Congregation, the style of life of her members,the way of prayer and her
mission and apostolate.

Our Charism was the gift given by God to Anna Moroni, Foundress of the Congregation of the SUORE CONVITTRICI DEL BAMBIN GESU' in Rome, where Sr.Margherita Teresa came from. She was inspired by God to become"NUTRICE DI GESU' BAMBINO"(That means "nurse" or spiritual mother of Baby Jesus), in imitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and desired to give this Name to the Sisters of her Congregation.She shared her intention to the Confessor Fr. Cosimo Berlinzani, who did not consent at once to her will, thinking she was too much presumptuous and also doubting that the people might understand what"to be Nutrice di Gesu' Bambino" was about; but later on he approved her plan with this condition: that she should change the Name" Nutrici di Gesu' Bambino " in "Convittrici di Gesu' Bambino(The word" Convittrici"means"those who live together with"..)

Not only that! He wrote a book ”The spiritual nurse of the Baby Jesus”, through which he teaches us the way to attain God’s love, that is the essence of the Gospel, and how to grow spiritually through a personal, profound, mystical and ascetic commitment.
In order to be really free and responsible and to fulfill the will of God, it is not enough to receive the gifts from God, but also we need to cooperate actively, with every effort to build His kingdom in our heart and in the heart of our brethren.
